Our sessions are about drugs and any related issues and can include things like:
What are they like?
Drugs are a serious subject. However, we aim to make our sessions lively, interesting and fun as well as informative. Depending on the subject and time allowed, you can expect accurate, up-to-date information together with an opportunity to consider some of the wider issues surrounding drug use. We use all sorts of delivery styles including videos, case studies, games and unusual practical exercises. How long do they last?
That’s up to you. You might just want a brief session of an hour or two to consider one specific aspect of drug use or to find out more about the work of Drug Concern. We also offer half-day or full-day workshops. Longer training courses are also available. Who are the talks for?
You may well have specific needs connected with diversity. For example,
language needs or a particular emphasis on cultural issues. We aim to actively
meet these needs. Please inform us of any particular identified issues. Where can they take place?
Don’t have a venue? No problem, we’ll host it in our training room in Birmingham City Centre. How do I arrange a drug awareness session?
Just contact Drug Concern. We usually need at least one month’s notice. We will ask for some basic information to make sure we deliver what you need. You provide the people. Just leave the rest to us. How much will it cost?
